Disease Ecology of Waterfowl

Waterfowl migrate around the globe, following the food and sun. As these amazing birds migrate, they can carry disease with them. My graduate work is focused on studying the timing of migration and how it relates to disease on the landscape, how these diseases can affect reproductive success in waterfowl and how these diseases can affect hunter harvest of these waterfowl.
